John 3:16

~ a verse I memorized as a child ~

    Recently, this verse had real meaning to me.

 For God so loved me, He sent his son, Jesus,

 to die for my sins ... so that I may have eternal

 life. Jesus' death has allowed me to have life.

 A life free from myself, my sinful ways that would

 only lead me straight to a fiery hell.

    God's love allowed me to be saved.  'Saved'

 in all sense of the meaning.  It's an over powering

 realization that God loves me that much.  

    I challenge anyone who doesn't already have

 this understanding to realize that God loves you

 that much, too.  Once you can come to the

 realization of just how much God really does love

 you, your heart is filled with so much love, joy, and

 peace.  It is so wonderful!  No matter what ones

 past is, God accepts us all.  He loves you so

 much that he allowed His son to die, so that you

 may live.

    Thank you Lord for the gift of your love.
